St John's Wood is a
well known district
in north west Londin
which is the home
of Lord's Cricket
Ground and the
Abbey Road Studios,
where the famous
Beatles pedestrian
crossing istill offers a
photo opportunities for tourists - old and
young, foreign and UK nationals, recreating
the photo of the Fab Four on the famous
Abbey Road album.
The reknown American School is located here,
which explains the many east and west coast
American accents that can be heard in the
area.
St John's Wood is highly sought after as a
residential location. It has its own High Street
where all day to day requirements can be
found as well as specialised food and luxury
goods - fashion and present buying boutiques.
There are also good restaurants and many SJW
residents claim never to have to venture far
from home for their beds and wants.
The southern boundary is Prince Albert Road
which overlooks the northern flank of what we
feel is the nicest of the Royal parks,
The Regent' Park is located immediately
alongside is the open space of Primrose Hill
and, like St John's Wood, is made up of villas
discreetly located behind gates.
Walk to the top of Primrose Hill and look
across the London skyline to see Crystal
Palace and Battersea Power Station to the
south, St Paul's Cathedral, the London Eye on
the Thames southbank and right across to the
City and Canary Wharf in the east.
